Spring Break in Santa Fe

Now that we know we are moving, we have decided to see as much of New Mexico as possible. Last week for spring break we visited Santa Fe. For those of you who have never been, I highly recommend it. What a cool town! In Santa Fe we visited several great sites, including the Georgia O'Keefe Museum, the Museum of International Folk Art, and the Cathedeal Basilica of S. Francis of Assisi. Nya took exception to the O'Keefe Museum after seeing a full frontal nude photo. She just can't stop talking about how "disgusting" it was. Just outside of Santa Fe, there is a village called Tesuque. There we were able to visit the Shidoni Bronze foundry, galleries and garden. We also visited Tesuque Glassworks. It was amazing to see the bronze and glass artists at work. Corbin was pretty terrified of the bronze pouring. Who could blame him? It is 2200 degrees! Here are some photos from our trip.

What's all this talk about?

Apparently there is a whole world of blogging that I have been unaware of until recently. I kept hearing people use the word 'blog'. So, I finally had to ask, "What's all this talk about blogging?" Now I have seen a few, and I have decided to try my hand at it. As many of you have already surmised, I am terrible at keeping in touch with friends and family. Christmas cards? Forget it!! Occasionally, (every few years) out of guilt, I send Valentines cards. And yes, the grandparents will attest to the fact that I rarely send photos. So, hopefully this will improve my affiliation with friends and family. I'm not guaranteeing anything. . . but I'll give it a shot.
